Anonymous, Location: MSU Library

I got a phone call 5 minutes before MSU had notified me and my peers about the active shooter. I looked to my friends asking if we had heard anything and told them that we would stay updated. When i got the email I immediately sent it to them. we hid. RUN. HIDE. FIGHT. we hid quietly in the library and after a while barracked. We were with someone who had lived through a mass shooting before and an international student who was living through something they were never prepared for. We were mentally tortured for hour’s while it sounding like we were next the entire time. The police scanner was reporting gunshots everywhere and everyone thought they were next.
